A long time ago... in a galaxy far far away
My shoulders are in knots. I worked out at the gym Wednesday night doing a LOT of arm work. This morning, I awoke to a splitting headache because my shoulders are so tight. I had a "few" Advil this morning with my oatmeal and coffee.
I'm finally getting to be without pain in my right foot. I've gone a whole week without pain or stiffness. It might be time to try a light jog. I'm thinking I could do a light run/walk and just see how I feel. Any pain at ALL and I'm back to walking only. I definitely don't want to re-injure myself. But, I also want to be able to run in time for the Great Urban Race.
Things are finally picking back up at work. As soon as the new year comes in, everyone's insurance rolls over and they all head on in for the exams they've been waiting on. I definitely like being busier. It beats hanging out around the office on the internet watching the day go by.
All my get better vibes are going to my friend Suz who had surgery on Monday. I watched my mom go through the same thing, so I know how much this part sucks. (even if not first hand) Love ya hon, I'll call ya soon.
I also now blame my cousin Steve for my increase in Wii playing. He kept telling me about how much fun he and his wife were having playing Lego Star Wars. So, I had to cash in my Best Buy gift card to buy it. It's highly addictive. The lego characters are super cute, people fall apart into little lego parts when you kill them, and nothing unleashes your inner nerd like slinging your Wii remote around like a lightsaber. Yes, I really did just type that. For the record, Steve, I still can't get passed the tow cable speeder w/ bomb level on Episode Two. It's a pain in the ass !!
Okay, enough nerdy ranting. I'm back to my dark room and my next patient. Happy Friday everybody!
