The horror!
I have today off so I spent most of my morning sleeping in, cleaning, and just be a bum in general. Around 3pm I started to have a smoothie craving. Since G is home this week, due to Hurricane Gustav canceling his weekly trip to New Orleans for work I decided to head to our local Jamba Juice to pick up two Mango A-go-go smoothies (our favorite!) I get to said local smoothie shop only to discover..... THEY CLOSED !!!! The signs were down, the store was gutted, and they had a "for rent" sign up in the window. I'm so dejected right now. When you're craving mango smoothie they were the only place to go! Now, there's another Jamba Juice in Clearwater, but that's a 30+ minute drive which is way above and beyond just for mango smoothie. Smoothie King is pale in comparison and has no mango. I'm a sad panda.

I will now tell you all about how strange I find you because I have been to smoothie king once, have never darkened the doors of JambaJuice, and I just don't get it :p
Just go drink some tea and like it, ok? LOL
It's not my fault you live on the ass-end of nowhere and have no Jamba Juice. :p I got addicted to them in CA where they have one on every corner (next to my beloved In-n-Out burger)
i can do without smoothie king OR jamba juice...it's really all about this little local-owned smoothie shop in the mall in college station. sigh. though you bet your butt i have me some in & out every time i'm anywhere near CA.
that being said: head ye to the store and grab some mango chunks from the frozen fruit section. also acquire some looza brand mango nectar (it comes in a tall skinny liter bottle with a hunter-green label), for it is the awesome secret ingredient to killer mango smoothies and ritas. +/- some plain yogurt as you see fit (it's a must for me). honey for sweetener. learn to love your blender.
