Sorry

Sorry things have been so spotty... I've been so busy with work I haven't really had time to post.

Thursday night was the hash, this time in South Tampa. So, since it was conveniently close to home I went out for the run. It was SO HUMID !! I did get to meet some new people to the group, two from Peru and one girl who I met at Red Dress. We all ended up at MacDintons after the run for the toast to Christine (the girl who past away in my previous post). It was great to see so many people there for her.

Friday and Saturday was work work work. But, I did have G home at night to watch movies with. For the record: you can skip "man of the year" with Robin Williams. Horrible movie.

Sunday was my only day off this week. Yes, folks, I'm working six days this week. My ever so exciting Sunday was spent cleaning the house and running errands. I did manage to get out to buy new sheets and comforter for the guest bedroom. I also managed to get G to re-caulk our bathroom tub so we can use our shower again. I know I know.. my life is SO horribly exciting.

As a break from errands I went to the charity fun raiser at MacDintons Sunday. They opened the bar from 5-7 to match donations to help pay Christine's funeral expenses. Her family was there with her dog. They were also raffling off some prizes. I bought $5 worth of raffle tickets. Get this: I won BOTH prizes!! The prize I kept are two tickets to this weekends food and wine festival at Tropicana Field. 400 wines, 40 restaurants and lots of free goodness. Retail value: $150 The other prize was to some Rum Festival in two weeks. I passed on that one (do to work) and had them auction it off to the highest bidder to make more money for Christine's family.
